Naturopathic Foundations
Address the root causes of pain and improve the success rate of your treatments when you harness time-tested naturopathic clinical pearls. An overview of high-yield options from nutrition, lifestyle, botanical medicine, homeopathy and home care kicks off our curriculum: learning to set the stage for healing our patients with pain.
Assessment
How will you know which treatments to use? History, exam and imaging help you find not only the diagnosis but also the true pain generators in your patients. Separate the signal from the noise to learn what is most important, how your patients are functioning and your treatments will work better!
Manual Therapy
Dysfunctional muscles, tight fascia, constricted nerves and tendinopathy all drive pain and manual therapy is the treatment of choice. With tools and your hands, release these restrictions as you correct posture and prepare the body to better respond to injection therapies. Techniques honed from our instructors’ clinical work around the world are chosen for their efficiency and effectiveness.
Perineural injections / NeuralProlotherapy
Our strong opinion is that the best way to get comfortable with needling is to learn these highly-effective superficial injections. Most chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions respond rapidly to this safe, inexpensive and transdiagnostic approach.
Trigger point injections
Hyperirritable muscle/fascial bundles refer pain away from the affected site. Learn to identify and treat them with manual therapy, a variety of solutions and more advanced needling techniques to build on what you learned from the neuralprolotherapy practice.
neural/scar therapy
Although the system of neural therapy can treat a variety of nervous and endocrine issues, we teach in the context of healing from traumas and scars. Reset nerves using anesthetics and release old, stuck patterns of nerve firing. Participants will learn to release scars to improve pain and sensation.
Regenerative injections
Prolotherapy, PRP and advanced solutions require precise injection into the deeper structures. Building on the previous needling techniques, unlock the next level of healing for your patients with regenerative injections
Ultrasound Guidance
Improving accuracy, efficacy and safety of injections requires the use of image guidance. Ultrasound technology has advanced to the point where image quality, portability and low cost enable even new practitioners to use needle guidance in clinical practice. Naturopathic Mastery’s instructors are enthusiastic about passing along this bleeding-edge method and unlocking new frontiers of injection therapies!
